About Us..People of all ages find that horse riding is fun, good for your fitness level and a great stress reliever, which in todays hectic world is something we all need.
Riding is not just for the children, Mums and Dads are welcome too ! It's a great way to get fit, have fun and make new friends. Lessons are available during the day or on an evening, so you can fit them in around even the busiest of schedules.
At Jodhpurs, ability (or lack of it) is no barrier either - complete novices through to experienced riders are catered for, and we have horses of all ablities to suit your progress. Our qualified and experienced instructors ensure that safety is always a priority.
We have a large number of horses and ponies so we are sure that we will be able to find one that you will get along with (check out our 'meet the horses' page). Alternatively, if you own your own horse we would be more than happy for you to bring it with you for your lesson.
HackingRiders wanting a more leisurely time find that Jodhpurs riding school is ideally suited for hacking out. Miles and miles of safe routes along peaceful Yorkshire countryside provide both horse and rider with the opportunity to either meander along or let of steam as the mood takes them.
For safety reasons we do recommend having lessons before venturing out on a hack.
FacilitiesTowards the end of 2006, we opened our new indoor arena which has two viewing galleries (one heated) where parents/partners can sit and watch in comfort with refreshments readily avaliable.
There is also a lecture/video room available. You can have your lesson filmed and then sit and watch it whilst you talk it through with your instructor over a cup of tea or coffee, a great training aid.
We also have a large outdoor arena, small indoor arena, cross country jumps, and a full set of show jumps.
We have lots of parking spaces aswell, so please come along and check us out - we are sure you will like what you see !
Jodhpurs Equestrian Centre is approved by the Association of British Riding Schools.
Whilst we will take every measure possible to ensure that you have an enjoyable and safe lesson, we must remind you that horse riding is a risk sport.
