Jodhpurs Riding School is an A.B.R.S. approved riding school in the village of Tockwith, which is situated between Harrogate and York. We also hold monthly unaffiliated dressage and show jumping competitions on all weather surfaces with indoor facilities. See events page for details of forthcoming events.

People of all ages find that horse riding is fun, good for your fitness level and a great stress reliever, which in todays hectic world is something we all need.

Riding is not just for the children, Mums and Dads are welcome too ! It's a great way to get fit, have fun and make new friends. Lessons are available during the day or on an evening, so you can fit them in around even the busiest of schedules.

At Jodhpurs, ability (or lack of it) is no barrier either - complete novices through to experienced riders are catered for, and we have horses of all abilities to suit your progress. Our qualified and experienced instructors can cater for all disciplines and ensure that safety is always a priority.

We have a large number of horses and ponies so we are sure that we will be able to find one that you will get along with (check out our 'meet the horses' page). Alternatively, if you own your own horse we would be more than happy for you to bring it with you for your lesson.

We have excellent faciltites with a very large indoor arena which includes a viewing gallery and refreshments area.  We also have an excellent outdoor arena.  Both of these are available for hire.

If you want a more leisurely ride, then we can organise a hack out around the peaceful surrounding countryside.
